Department of Defense
When it comes to National Security, shortcuts should never be taken. We take the same approach when designing facilities for the DoD. We have provided design for projects across the globe and are intimately familiar with the specific criteria of USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC and other Defense agencies. We pride ourselves on our ability to work on large, complex projects and coordinating life safety needs with the enhanced security and hazards unique to Defense facilities.

Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea
Stanton Engineering Services was a subconsultant on the A/E team that was tasked to design a new 72,000 SF communication squadron headquarters, data center and telecommunications node facility at Osan Air Base in the Republic of Korea. Unique features of the design and project constraints included collective protection system, with supporting amenities/facilities to include utilities, pavements, site improvements, retaining wall(s), communication support, passive force protection measures, and backup power generation. Stanton Engineering provided services on-site in South Korea and CONUS to support the design of this facility. Scope of the project also had to take into account local grave sites of historical importance. Stanton Engineering provided all fire alarm and mass notification systems design, fire suppression and gaseous clean agent systems design, fire water supply analysis, and life safety/building code analysis for this project. The design services required site surveys, confirmation of existing conditions, and coordination with the Authority Having Jurisdiction and other assigned government personnel. |
